We began back in 1997 with our bedspreads brand Forever England. We loved creating new designs and watching them come to life in fabrics. Our customers loved our products and so soon it was time to ask what’s next? The answer came easily. Fashion accessories! We applied our passion for colour and textiles to headbands, scrunchies and socks. Since then our collections have grown with hundreds of new products added every Spring and Autumn.
We look to nature, art, historical designs and current trends for inspiration. Flowers often feature and anything sparkly is always popular! Being based in the beautiful county of Somerset allows us to observe the changing seasons, the sparkling stars above our heads and the abundant wildlife. All are fantastic sources for creativity.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We want to wow them with our products and give them the chance to explore new looks. We love to hear about the pleasure our products give people whether they are purchasing for themselves or others.
We are truly a family business. Our children have all been involved in some way and it has been amazing to watch them learn our craft and grow to love it like we do. When deciding on a name for our new brand there was only one in our minds. We named Millie Mae after our daughter. It’s a beautiful and timeless name and we love to see it in pride of place on our products.
Sustainability is a consideration we give to everything. Living in the countryside we see how important it is to protect the stunning surroundings we have. With that in mind, we have made real changes to the materials we use, the way we work and have plans to do more in the coming months. All we want to take from our planet is inspiration.
